Agropolychim JSC
Agropolychim JSC is located in Devnya, near the city of Varna, in Northeast of Bulgaria. The plant is situated in the close proximity of Varna-West port and has its own direct connection to the national railroad network.
History

1974
In response to the increased needs of Bulgarian agriculture Agropolychim started to produce chemical fertilizers.

1977
The integrated factory was divided into two separate plants – first one for nitrogen fertilizer production and a second one for phosphoric fertilizer production.

1988
Both plants merged in one named “Fertilizers”.

1991
The plant was transformed into state property trading company.

1998
Agropolychim JSC has been established with 100% state property.

October 1999
"Acid & Fertilizers", USA acquired 63% of company’s fund from Bulgaria Privatization Agency. Acid & Fertilizers LLC, USA is a joint venture between DAVENPORT INDUSTRIES – 99% and UMICORE – 1%.
Currently Agropolychim's capital is at the amount of 8 492 087 Euro, more than 98 % of which are in the possession of the major owner Acid & Fertilizers LLC, USA.
