Revamping the installation for the production of SAN into installation for production of Ammonium Nitrate with 34.4 % Nitrogen content
AGROPOLYCHIM JSC has started a project for revamping the installation for the production of Stabilized Ammonium Nitrate (SAN) into installation for production of Ammonium Nitrate with 34.4 % Nitrogen content.
On April 1, 2009 AGROPOLYCHIM JSC has started a project for revamping the installation for the production of Stabilized Ammonium Nitrate (SAN) into installation for production of Ammonium Nitrate with 34.4 % Nitrogen content. The project to the value of 14 million Euros has to be finalized according schedule by beginning of second half of 2011. The project will be implemented by the French company GPN. The installation capacity will be 40,000 tpm, and the product will be offered in packing of 50 kg, 500 kg, as well as in bulk. The quality of the product is guaranteed, and to every consignment material is attached a protocol for analysis issued by the Central Research Laboratory of AGROPOLYCHIM JSC. The aim of the project is production modernization and quality enhancement, and last but not least a long-term improvement of the ecology in the region.

At the beginning of February 2009 AGROPOLYCHIM JSC has finalized a project for erection of a new installation for filling in packages of 500 kg and 1000 kg. The investment was implemented within one calendar year.
At the beginning of February 2009 AGROPOLYCHIM JSC has finalized a project for erection of a new installation for filling in packages of 500 kg and 1000 kg. The investment was implemented within one calendar year. The capacity of the line is 500 tpd, which represents 20 % of the packed production dispatch. In the new installation will be packed the full range of products manufactured by AGROPOLYCHIM JSC (i.e. SAN, TSP, DAP and MAP), and there will be an option for product packing out of plant’s production list, like Carbamide, NPK etc.
The idea for erection of this installation was caused by several factors: Firstly – modernization and automation of most of the activities in present agriculture. Huge number of the farmers is already in the possession of the necessary unloading equipment, which can reduce the need of manual labour usage and respectively the up/unloading activities cost. Secondly - with one package of 500 kg a fertilizer vehicle can be loaded once, which makes easier the field logistics and reduces the cost of fertilizer delivery. Thirdly, last but not least: the ecology aspect – it makes easier the process of collecting and recycling of the already used packages. From the producer’s point of view, the new installation will make easier the internal plant logistics and will increase the daily dispatch capacity.

Two new products: Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) and Diammonium phosphate (DAP)
AGROPOLYCHIM JSC has put into operation a production line for two new products – Monoammonium phosphate (MAP) and Diammonium phosphate (DAP). The project, to the value of 14 million Euros was realized within the short-term frame of the investment plan of the company.

The installation capacity is 1000 tpd, and the product is offered in packing of 50 kg, 500 kg, as well as in bulk. The quality of the product is guaranteed, and to every consignment material is attached a protocol for analysis issued by the Central Research Laboratory of AGROPOLYCHIM JSC.
As it is well known MAP and DAP are complex fertilizers widely used in practice of developed agrarian countries due to the optimum combination of the two main nutrient elements, which assumes significant increasing of the yields and forming of a strong roots, which is a main factor for proper and stable plants growth. It is mainly used for pro-sowing fertilizing and is suitable for all kind crops where the high phosphorus content helps for a better absorption of the other nutrient elements. The positive economic effect results from reducing the number of the agricultural activities performed.
